Soldier On is a program of the Canadian Armed Forces Transition Group and is committed to supporting veterans and serving members to adapt and overcome permanent physical or mental health injury or illness through physical activity and sport. This re-introduction to an active lifestyle provides opportunities to develop new skills, build confidence and meet peers with similar challenges.

Batawa Lions Club

The Batawa Lions Club did an incredible job this past winter creating and managing the 5 Batawa outdoor skating rinks, which were free and open to the public all season! They also hosted the 4th Annual CFB Trenton Pond Hockey Classic. Thank you for your hard work.

16th Trenton Brownies

Brownies is all about encouraging girls to develop their own identity and positive relationships with others. The program helps girls gain confidence by learning skills that they can use in their daily lives and develop a commitment to their communities through service projects and special events. Programming covers everything from science and technology to the arts and eco-awareness and camping.

Field of Ability is a project launched on behalf of Quinte Challenger Baseball to construct a FULLY ACCESSIBLE, BARRIER FREE baseball diamond. The Field of Ability will be fully fenced to increase safety for high risk runners and build self-esteem and confidence for those home run hitters… over the fence!
